Filters

Air filter is a device composed of fibrous or porous materials which removes solid particulates such as dust, pollen, mold, and bacteria from the air. Filters containing an absorbent or catalyst such as charcoal (carbon) may also remove odors and gaseous pollutants.

Handlair HVAC filters are available in several configurations. These are available with different filtration media for various applications depend on the efficiency of filtration required.

Panel filter :	for first level of air purifying in multi level filtration systems or as a basic purification medium in single level filtration systems in ventilation and air conditioning installations. Construction: Flange / Box Type. Frame: GP sheet/ Aluminium sheet /SS sheet, with filtering media of metallic & synthetic non woven media, reinforced with galvanized metal grid / with expanded metal. Media: HDPE media/ Non woven synthetic media supporting mesh & Neoprene rubber gasket Efficiency: 65% - 85%
Pocket (Bag Type ) Filters.	for second level of air purifying in ventilation / air conditioning installations. Construction: Specially molded profile of GP sheet/ Aluminium sheet. Media: HDPE media/ Non woven synthetic media supporting mesh & Neoprene rubber gasket Efficiency: up to 90%
Micro vee Type Fine Filters	for third/ final level of air purifying in ventilation / air conditioning & paint shops. Construction: Flange / Box Type. Frame: Galvanized steel/ Aluminium /SS 304 . Media: HDPE media/ Non woven synthetic media supporting mesh & Neoprene rubber gasket Efficiency: up to 95%.
HEPA Type Filters	For final level of air purifying in ventilation / air conditioning / pharmaceuticals / clean rooms / operations theaters etc. Construction: Flange / Box Type. Frame: Aluminium /SS 304 . Media: Non-woven/ fiber glass /paper media Efficiency: 99.97%.

AUTO VISCOUS FILTERS (OIL BAG FILTERS)

HANDLAIR oil bath filter units have been developed for installing with ventilation plants, where the dust concentration in the surrounding air is comparatively heavier. It is very ideal for ventilation systems in coal mines, steel plants, cement plants, foundries and similar industries. These filters are available in different sizes, depending on the capacity. This can be either direct or indirect driven. Each direct drive unit can be coupled with two indirect driven units, depending of the size. In this filters, the dust is retained by adhesive action, when the dust laden air passes through the filter mat. The mat is cleaned and re oiled as it passes intermittently through the oil tank. Drops of oil that may be carried through are trapped by the oil drop eliminator. The Filters are made of G.I. wire. The filter frame is made up of M.S. sheet, suitable oil sump and containers are provided. A fractional horse powered geared motor with very low R.P.M. controlled by time relay drives the unit. The unit consists of filter mat, oil drop eliminator, wall frame, jointing strips, gear box, motor and timer.
